AUSTRALIAN SCIENCE FICTION ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (DITMARS) NOMINATIONS

These will be voted on by members of the Festival of the
Imagination, the 1996 Natcon in Perth. A $10 voting membership
is available. The deadline is 6.00pm April 6. Postal votes
must be postmarked on or before 31 March 1996 and received by
last mail on Thursday, 4 April 1996.

Those who look at it closely will note that Ian Gunn has only
been nominated in four categories. This is inexcusable. It's
time Ian got off his arse and wrote a novel and published a
book of post-semiotic deconstructionalist analysis of Thomas
the Tank Engine. (The failure of Artychoke to make the Best
Fanzine ballot can only be ascribed to Alan Stewart's placing
of the zine at the very end of Thyme. )

is available. The deadline is 6.00pm April 6. Postal votes

What? Ian Gunn has only been nominated in three categories here.
He must be descenting into mainstream bofdom. (Note, should
you detect the flavour of sour grapes in any references to Ian
Gunn and awards....you could be right.)
