PEOPLE

Tim Jones notes that he and Kay are the proud parents of
Gareth Christopher Stanley Jones, born on Friday 31 May.

Isobel Carmody featured in The Sunday Age 9/6/96 discussing
her favourite book, Sheri S. Tepper's _Beauty_.

Lucy Sussex notes Isobelle Carmody's short story 'The
Pumpkin-Eater' and Julie Haydon's _Lines Upon the Skin_ were
both longlisted for this year's Tiptree award."

Lee Harding has sold a novel to a publisher in Sydney.
Expect it in March '97.

Rumour has it that there are plans to film one of Leanne
Frahm's short stories. (Leanne complains that there is never
enough gossip in The Bullsheet but then she never sends me
any...)

BULLSHEET MEDIA WATCH

The Australian Magazine June 15/16 featured Asimov's
Foundation trilogy in its"The Vulture" column. It is a
remarkably accurate summary.
