BIRTHS: CONNOR JAMES BATTERSBY, weighing 3.430 kg (7lb 9oz) was born 
to writers Lyn Triffitt and Lee Battersby on Friday 26th November. 
All doing well!

DEATHS: MAXINE KOMLOS/O'LEARY, wife of astronomer, Michael O'Leary, 
mother of Alinta Thornton passed away in mid-November after a long 
illness. In 1996 Maxine wrote and published "Transmat", a SF book 
that was well received. (Reported to the Eidolist by Robert
