w84m019.jpeg [35KB]: "Metropolis" Based on the 1920's classic silent movie, "Metropolis", this entry has Phillip Mercier as the Mad Doctor who uses a large metallic cabinet to transform the young leader of the people, Maria (played convincingly by Patti Mercier) into a robot version of her that could be easily controlled to do the bidding of the wealthy overlords. Kathryn Mayer who recreated this exceptional replica of the robotrix stunned the audience as she emerged from the cabinet and walked on her own power off stage with the Mad Doctor.
