MagiCon - 1992 WorldCon

From all corners of the world science fiction fans, authors, artists, and publishers descended on Orlando, Florida for the 50th World Science Fiction Convention. The WorldCon was dubbed MagiCon in honor of its proximity to Disney World and it featured Guest of Honor Jack Vance and Artist Guest of Honor Vincent Di Fate; Fan Guest of Honor Walter Willis, a prominent author from Ireland; and Toastmaster Spider Robinson, a Canadian resident and author.

MagiCon was held at the Orange County Convention Center and the Peabody Hotel in Florida over Labor Day Weekend, September 3-7, 1992.
