Jim Briggs

Jim’s first Worldcon was L.A. Con III.  Since then, he has attended nine more Worldcons (and will attend his eleventh in less than a month).  He has worked on seven of those, and has been a department head for five.  His other convention positions include:
  • ConDor - Dealers Room, Fan Activies, Publicity
  • Conucopia (99 NASFiC) - Volunteers
  • Conjecture - Art Show, Treasurer
  • Gaylaxicon 2004 - Programming Ops
  • Loscon - Dealers Room, Fan Tables, Newsletter Distribution, Vice Chair

  • Conagerie (Westercon 55) - Site Selection Administrator
  • Con Jose - Site Selection Administrator
  • Conzilla (Westercon 59) - Bid Chairman, Chairman
He regularly attends Worldcon, Westercon, ConDor, Conjecture, Loscon, Coppercon, Leprecon, Vintacon, and SMOFcon.  He and Sandra Childress were guests of honor at ConCave in 2006.
