Denver 2008 Staff Biographies:John Mansfield John’s
first Worldcon was TRICON in 1966. When asked how many Worldcons
he had attended, he replied, “Too many;” when asked how
many he had worked on, he said, “Not enough.” He has
never been a staff or department head for a Worldcon, because, “I
had to chair a Worldcon, before I could be trusted.” He has
chaired “way too many” cons in seven provinces and three
countries. In addition to Worldcon, he regularly attends Keycon
and Valleycon; he attends others “irregularly.” He
was Co-Chair for Westercon 2005. | ||
