Denver 2008 Staff Biographies:Terry Adams Terry
Adams began her career in fandom with a trip from her native Montana to
the fourth Mythcon in LA in 1973. She hasn't looked back
since. She attended Westercons, Baycons, and Mythcons in
California during the 1970s, and then attended and worked on
Darkovercons and Disclaves on the east coast during the 1980s.
She specialized in running babysitting, and did so not only for local
cons, but for the Bucconeer worldcon in Baltimore in 1998. She
was also one of the founding committee members for the Malice Domestic
mystery convention in DC where, in different years, she ran
programming, registration, and special events. She is a costumer
extraordinare, having created costumes for a number of eras; she was
also responsible for costuming the male gnome in the "Gnomes On The
Range" masquerade entry. Terry teaches Regency Dance, brews
superb pot of tea, and nags with great aplomb. She is the party
maven for Denver 2008. | ||
