d97-010.jpeg [34KB]: Water Damage in the Lobby of the Disclave 1997 Hotel Early on the Sunday morning of Disclave. Some bondage "hangers-on" (they didn't have Disclave memberships), tore down a sprinkler that they were attempted to tie a woman to. The water went from 404, through 304 (where fans were sleeping) into the hotel offices and finally into the lobby beside the elevator. Within about 10 minutes, at 5:21 AM, the fire alarms went off all over the hotel, sending everyone into the parking lot. People were kept out of most of the hotel until after 7 AM. The elevator service was out until about 7 PM that night. That was the last Disclave at the hotel. Photo by Laurie Mann
