Octocon is the national Irish science fiction convention, held annually (but not always) in October. The convention was started in 1990 by members of the Irish Science Fiction Assocation. In 2009, the first Golden Blaster awards, the national Irish Science Fiction Awards for short science fiction, fantasy or horror films, were given out at Octocon.
In the collection of photographs that follows there are many faces that are not known to its current custodians. If you recognize individuals that have not been identified in that photo's caption, or you know any other iformation about the photo that has not been included, please use the form that has been provided to update the photo's caption of credits.
