Windycon, a Chicago-area regional convention, was founded in 1974 and held annually since then. In recent years, it has ordinarily been held on the weekend closest to Veterans Day.

In the collection of photographs that follows there are many faces that are not known to its current custodians. If you recognize one or more people in a photo that have not been mentioned in that photo's caption, or you know who the photographer is and we don't, please use the form provided with the photo to identify that individual or those individuals. Information about what was happening in a photo would also be appreciated if it is not included in the photo's caption. Thank you.
