CONJOSÉ, THE 60TH WORLD SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION

FOR RELEASE TUESDAY, JULY 26, 2000,

CONJOSÉ MAILS PROGRESS REPORT 1

ConJosé, the 2002 World Science Fiction Convention, mailed Progress Report 1 to all of its members, on Thursday, July 20, from San José, California. This mailing went to all members of ConJosé who indicated that they wanted publications, and also included supporters of the Bay Area in 2002 Worldcon Bid who have not yet purchased a ConJosé membership.

In order to track the distribution of this mailing, ConJosé asks its members to e-mail reg@conjose.org with the date on which they received their PR and where they are (including zip code for USA addresses).

ConJosé mailed progress reports using Standard ("bulk") mail to US addresses, and by air printed matter to all other countries.

ConJosé will be held Thursday, August 29 through Monday, September 2, 2002, at the San José McEnery Convention Center in San José, California. Memberships are currently US$120. More information, including discounts for those who voted in the 2002 site selection and/or pre-supported the Bay Area in 2002 bid, and rates in other currencies, is available on the convention's web site, http://www.conjose.org/.
