CONJOSÉ CO-CHAIRS TO MAKE RADIO APPEARANCES

Tom Whitmore and Kevin Standlee, co-chairs of ConJosé, the 60th World Science Fiction Convention, will be joined by ConJosé Toastmaster Tad Williams on RadioSegue Weekly Arts and Issues Talk Radio on KUSF 90.3 FM at 9:30 PM PDT on Thursday, August 22. They will be discussing the Worldcon, which starts in just a few days in San José, as well as science fiction, fantasy and fandom. KUSF does not currently have an
internet streaming audio connection, so only listeners in the SF Bay Area can receive it.

Whitmore and Standlee will also appear on the KFJC 89.7 FM talk show "Thoughtline" on Monday, August 26, 2002, from 6 to 7 PM PDT. They will discuss the upcoming convention and science fiction fandom in general. Those not in the San Francisco Bay Area may listen to this program via the streaming audio connection available on http://www.kfjc.org/. Listeners from around the world are encouraged to call in with their questions.

A previously-announced appearance by Whitmore and Standlee on Thoughtline last Monday night, August 19, was cancelled due to KFJC's transmitter being off the air because of a power failure.
