Restaurants - Pubs and BarsThis page contains photographs and brief reviews of San José restaurants by ConJosé staff. Click on any photo to see a larger version of the picture, contact details and reviews where available. Katie Bloom's is an Irish pub located behind the Fairmont. The Gordon Biersch brewery and restaurant - San José's most famous beer location. Trials: an actual, genuine British pub in San José. Boddingtons, Tetleys and Fullers on tap, Youngs, Sam Smiths and Bellhaven in bottle. Not to mention a menu that includes bangers & mash, fish & chips and shepherd's pie. Tied House: this Bay Area microbrewery also does excellent food at all of its pubs. This one is in San Pedro Square. The Flying Pig bar - we'll believe it when we see it (or when we have had enough whiskey). The Shark & Rose in San Pedro Square is an obvious hangout for San José Sharks ice hockey fans. Their web siate says that they have Grolsch on tap and bottled Belgian beers, plus their own microbrews. And yes, there is shark on the menu. Rose is the owner.
