indeed going to Seattle "all by myself" (and remembering my discussions with Susan about the desirability of having "Dr." before your name...) I felt rather odd telling the Customs man that I would be in the United States for five days. I felt even adder on the way back saying that I would be in Canada for forty-eight hours.
