ALTERNATE STICKY MOMENTS?
Danny Heap and Alternate Worlds have parted company. Meanwhile Carey
Handfield is burning up the information super-highway as an Internet Access
salesperson.
Your humble correspondent visited Adelaide with the intention of looking
into the fabled Known Space Bookshop, only to find that it doesn't open
until 12 noon on a Saturday. Mumble! I did see the door. I made up for the
disappointment with a pleasant afternoon tea with Roman Orszanski, Sue
Peukert, Dylan, John Foyster, Yvonne Rousseau, Brian Forte and Helen, and
Dianne DeBellis. What is this? The social pages?
CONVENTION UPDATES
SURVIVAL 94 managed to lose all three of its GsoH just prior to the
convention. (To lose one guest of homour, Mr Proctor, may be regarded as a
misfortune; to lose all three looks like carelessness.)
ARCON (The Aussiecon Reunion Convention) will have Robin Johnson and David
Grigg as its GsoH. Robin chaired the first Aussiecon, and David chaired
Aussiecon Two.

RECOMMENDED READING
THE LOTTERY & THE PATTERNMAKER (Omnibus Books) compiled by Lucy Sussex.
Though aimed at an adolescent audience, these anthologies showcase some of
the best of the current batch of Australian sf writers. I particularly
enjoyed both title stories, Leanne Frahm's "Jinx Ship", Greg Egan's "The Walk"
(reprinted from Asimov's) and Dirk Strasser's Steering the Waters.

INFORMATION REQUIRED
Club secretaries. When you sort out your annual programs, please send me a
copy. I'm particularly in need of info from W.A., Canberra and Queensland.
In addition I'm looking for places to send hard copy of The Bullsheet.
Currently Slow Glass Books in Melbourne are my only distribution point.
Could fans in other states recommend bookshops or clubs with freebie tables?
It strikes me that what we need is a fannish contact point in each major city;
somewhere where visiting science fiction fans know they can get the latest
information on what is happening and somewhere where conventions and clubs
can distribute publicity. Can anyone suggest places like that in their city?
(Replies will be published in future Bullsheets.)
DEADLINE FOR #24
(Sorry this one was late.) Tuesday December 20th. Distribution date Friday
December 23rd. The Bullsheet will then go into a Christmas recess until early
February. (I use the school duplicator for hardcopy.)
