SWINGING SYDNEY FANDOM
Eric Lindsay reports visiting US West Coast fan Fred Patten was attacked by a
damper while dining with Sydney fans. He was saved by Nick Stathopoulos.
Fred was a featured speaker at a conference on furry humanoid animals.
Rich and Linda McAllister, Silicon Valley fans, will be in Sydney from 22nd
March, and are expected at Galaxy and after on Thursday, following a trip
to the Blue Mountains and dinner with Marilyn Pride, Lewis Morley, Jean
Weber, Eric Lindsay and others. The visitors report that, as far as they
know, they are not allergic to ferrets. Jean and Eric expect to be
visiting the USA before Easter, and will attend Corflu, the fanzine
convention in Las Vegas. The pair will also visit Seattle and Silicon Valley.

PAT & ROGER SIMS WIN DUFF
The votes were fairly evenly divided in Australia, but strongly biased
towards the Sims in the U.S.. Roger and Pat will be at Thylacon. Alan
Stewart will publish details on the voting and their itinerary. Another
DUFF candidate, Lucy Schmeidler, plans to attend Thylacon.
