THYLACON
First reports suggest it was a small (~100) and enjoyable convention.
The Tasmanian Government's tourist bounty ($25 for every interstate or
overseas member) should offset some of the costs and there may be a
video of the convention for sale. Our ever reliable reporter Terry
Frost mentioned as highlights of the convention Nick Stathopoulos
threatening to expose himself to some drunks at the hotel and a pair
committing what must be a sacrilegious act on the steps of the church
opposite the convention hotel. No doubt these and more will be dealt
with more explicitly in Terry's next fanzine. Robin Johnson reports
that the unexpected presence of Karen Fowler was a pleasant addition
to the convention.

E-MAIL PROBLEMS
Apologies to those who've had e-mail to me bounced. I'm in the middle
of changing my provider to VicNet, which should, fingers crossed, deal
with the difficulty. AUSOM are a great club, but their e-mail gateway,
via Deakin, seems prone to closing at the most awkward times.
DEADLINE FOR #35
Tuesday June 20th. Distribution Friday June 23rd.
