GENERAL NEWS
STAR WARS: Revenge of the Sith is breaking all box office records
despite mixed reviews.
HARRY POTTER and the Half-blood Prince, the 6th HP novel from J.K.
Rowling is scheduled to be published on July 16.
SHREK 3 will reunite Shrek, Donkey. Fiona and Puss In Boots as well
as introducing a new character, young Artie (A young King Arthur) to
be voiced by Justin Timberlake. Don't hold your breath waiting
though; Shrek 3 is not expected to be released until 2007. (Reported

DR WHO: INSIDE THE TARDIS starring Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and
Katy Manning will be touring Australia in July/August. See "Events"

INFLUX, the debut novel from J.C. Jones recently topped the science
fiction best seller list of e-books, overtaking sales of Douglas

DEATHS:
Czech SF author, JOSEF NESVADBA, died at age 78. His death was
announced by his family on 26th April. (Reported on SF Weekly,

WALKING WOUNDED:
Editor and writer, SARAH ENDACOTT is recovering from a broken leg.
US fan FRED PATTEN was still in the Rancho Los Amigos rehabilitation
centre following a stroke. He has regained his ability to swallow.
Discharge had been postponed until the end of May. Glen Wooten has
established a fund to help pay for Fred's medical expenses. (Relayed
