Audio Recordings of Loncon II (1965):

the 23rd World Science Fiction Convention

This material came to light in the SF Club Deutschland (SFCD) archives where the original reel-to-reel tapes (of the full program content of Loncon II) appear to have been for the best part of 40 years. The quality is good for the time (a bit wearing if you listen to it for hours on end, but certainly understandable) ... given the age and context, this is a piece of unique Worldcon - and SF - history.

We could not provide all of the audio here, but we have selected several program items of interest, and we hope you enjoy this audio time capsule. The listing of people in the panels is from the Loncon II program booklet.

Please do note: in order to hear these programs, you will need software which can play .wav files.
