WORDS FROM THE KEEPER Next issue, as you saw on the cover, there are going to be a few changes. Among them, a brand new masthead. Try not to be too surprised when you rip open the wrapper and see that the zine with the monster on its back is looking a little different. Any serial-lovers out there in NEM/UX? land? If so, you, at least are in for a treat, Bob Howard-sytle. His new character, Deedee, debuts in a three-issue tangle with the man called Knight, in the days before he dons his mask and costume. As a matter of fact, brother Howard has talked me into letting him write The Origin of Knight. Next issue, if you can get a copy, you'll get the first installment of Anyone for the Ace of Spades? Series-lovers will find brother Gordon's character returning home, in the second of his Nothing Could Be Finer series. I don't plan on missing it. And for the Merkel fan, whoever he is, brother Merk has also warned me he plans on lending his talents to the next issue also. However, what that sneaky personage is up to, not even the Monster knows, or even claims to. Right now, not even the Keeper knows. In conclusion, disregarding the info below the table of contents, here is the new address of: Norman Masters 720 Bald Eagle Lake Road Ortonville, Mich. 48462 Ye Keeper John Henry Merkel [pg. 31, THE UNKNOWN #5, Fall 1966 -- Vol. 2, No. 5 {M.M. No. 9}]
