We reckoned there weren't enough fannish awards about. Besides, we wanted to award some. So, we're introducing the Fyffes^TM. Fyffes^TM can be awarded to a person, object or concept that, in the entirely subjective view of the Plokta editors, changes the face of science fiction.

Our first Fyffe^TM is awarded to Simon Bisson and Mary Branscombe. After Confabulation, the low-hassle Eastercon, came Evolution, the no-hassle Eastercon -- at least for these two, who demonstrated that it's possible to run a large convention without ever breaking into a sweat or leaving the bar. Not everyone on the Evolution committee mastered their effortless style -- here's a picture of Pat McMurray.
