It might be of interest to whomever is, that my father was never known to be a practical joker. Fact is, though he was brilliant with numbers and financial data, and enjoyed a joke as well as anyone, he never had a knack for originating a joke "on" someone. However, as a young child, he told me he had actually seen the forementioned "artifacts", and I never knew of anyone in his life he lied to...
