The History of Fanzine Exhibit was one of a series of fanhistorical exhibits that were started for the 50th anniversary worldcon, Noreascon 3 in 1989. The intent was to keep developing these exhibits until the 50th worldcon, MagiCon in 1992. Several of these exhibits have become standing exhibits at many worldcons, including: Worldcon Bidding, Worldcons, Hugo Awards and some on international fandoms. The History of Fanzines exhibit was developed by Nancy Atherton largely, I believe, from the collection of Peggy Rae Pavlat. This exhibit has not been continued. -- Joe Siclari This|
