Ann Chancellor, Marjii Ellers, Angelique Trouvere w76m007.jpeg [13KB]: "Peacock Skirt (from Beardsley's Salome Illustrations)" The front of this costume made and worn by Ann Chancellor is quite demure compared to the back which is seen in the next photo. Ann used the Beardsley drawings to inspire the design of her dress and headdress with the idea of matching them to the back. She said that the tough part was "copying each and every dot just as it is drawn" to best bring Beardsley's art to life. She was awarded "Best Fantasy".
