Kathy Sanders, Mike Resnick, Angelique Trouvere w73m010.jpeg [24KB]: "Cobra Queen" Inspired by a cover from Vampirella comics, Kathy Sanders made this costume from yards of pink satin fabric and a copper breast plate which she worked from a piece of scrap copper that a strong-handed friend cut out for her. She then soldered it together and made the headdress as well. She said that the snake she carried was a lucky find at a beach art show: a metal cobra made with flexible conduit wire. She was awarded an "Honorable Mention" for her efforts.
