IguanaCon II – 1978 WorldCon

The IguanaCon logo, designed and scanned by Taral Wayne (MacDonald), is of the legendary Phoenix rising from the ashes. Taral kindly assisted me in scanning various IguanaCon items, and his help has been invaluable. Soon after Phoenix won the bid, the concom, and subsequently many other fans, began to refer to IguanaCon by its fannish moniker Iggy. Some items in these pages may refer to the worldcon as that.

Note that this was actually the first, and so far the only, IguanaCon but it was designated IguanaCon II. Why? To find out please read "Provenance of IguanaCon II" by Tim Kyger, Iggy Chair, back when he was doing publicity & publications.
