w92m080.jpeg [33KB]: "Umi Kami" Deborah Strub designed and made this intriguing couple costume of Japanese sea spirits embodying the principles of Yin & Yang for herself and husband, Bernie. Based on 16th century Japanese court garb, she created a five layered kimono for herself and a winged vest for Bernie made from re-worked chicken wire, paper mache, gesso and glitter to resemble coral reefs and both sported webbed hands made from glittery spandex fabric.
