A Mile Closer to the Stars
In early 2008, as part of the rebranding process of becoming a Sheraton (the former Adam's Mark) has become completely non-smoking. This policy went into effect at the beginning of March 2008. This hotel will be all non-smoking for Denvention 3.
If you booked a smoking room, the smoking part of the reservation will not be honored. Your room reservation will be honored in every other way, but there are no longer any smoking rooms.
The Denver Grand Hyatt allows smoking and still has rooms, so there is a place you can move to and request a smoking room. The Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center has smoking rooms, but is currently sold you. You may wish to try to submit a reservation to the Hyatt Regency using the online form; sometimes, rooms will be available due to cancellations.
If you have questions or concerns that we can help you with, please email us at housing@denvention.org and we will try to assist with any inconvenience this change is causing.
If you have any friends who booked into the hotel, who might not be reading the Web site or PRs, please let them know, as well. The more we have people spreading the word, the better.
The Curtis, Sheraton, Courtyard, Marriott, Westin Tabor Center, and Crowne Plaza are all completely non-smoking.
