Useful BusinessesWe know that not everyone who comes to Worldcon is there on holiday. For dealers, publishers, authors, artists, and even SMOFs there is a lot of work involved. To make your lives easier, here is a guide to one or two useful places in downtown San José. For a larger image, contact details, etc. click on the picture. The UPS store, if you have anything to send or receive. The FedEx store, if you prefer them to UPS. Downtown San José's second hand bookstore. This is one of those places that is piled to the ceiling with books and you never know what you might find. Zanotto's on Second Street is the nearest grocery store to the Fairmont, our party hotel. Kinko's offers copying, computer workstations, document supplies, shipping, and more. 93 E San Carlos Street (near S. 3rd St.) Phone: (408) 295-4336 Fax: (408) 279-0655 EMail: usa2901@kinkos.com Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Warning: There are two downtown San José Kinko's locations. The one on San Pedro Square is not open on nights and weekends. Yes, we have Costco. Details coming soon. |
