The Wyndham is located 3 miles (a 10 minute light-rail commute) from the McEnery San José Convention Center. The Light rail fare is $1.25 each way or $3 for an all-day ticket. The rates are $99 per night for King and double-double rooms. There is a $99 early departure charge and 24-hour notice is required for cancellation. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is noon. Parking is fre. These rates are good from August 27, 2002 to September 3, 2002. The hotel is located at 1350 North First Street, San José, California, 95112. Please do not contact the hotel directly for reservations. Booking forms are in the mail and online booking is available here. Please note that, due to the current proximity in time to the convention, there may not be rooms available for the dates you choose. To find out which hotels have rooms for the dates you want, leave the date fields on the booking form blanks and click the Refine Hotel List button. Ignore any errors and select the hotel you are interested in. It will show you a calendar with dates color-coded to show which are available. All rates listed are subject to the City of San José's Occupancy tax, currently at 10%. For more details about the Wyndham see their web page.
