Art ShowView the list of confirmed exhibiting artists. We are pleased to announce the winners of the annual Chesley Awards are now available on the Con José website. The ConJosé art show is being brought to you by Jerome Scott and Elizabeth Klein-Lebbink, the same husband-wife team that did the 1999 NASFiC, Conucopia. Weve also done many a Loscon (the Los Angeles Regional) and have worked on half a dozen Worldcon art shows. Our staff will be comprised of folks from the East, West and Midwest, all experienced art show people. Volunteers are always greatly appreciated! Our goal is to bring an efficient, well-run and enjoyable show to ConJosé that not only benefits the convention members, but also the artists who make the time and effort to display their work. The hall in the convention center is huge, which means ample space for the art show. In addition, it is well lit (special daylight balanced lamps), meaning that the art will be clearly seen in its best light, although special lighting will be made available to those artists who require it on a case by case basis. Some special features of the show will include an artists print shop, docent tours, and areas where the artist can interact with the convention members in a comfortable setting. We can be contacted via email at: ArtShow@conjose.org or via postal mail at: 1010 E. Acacia Ave We are no longer
accepting entries to the Art Show. As of August 17, the ConJose Art Show is no longer accepting mail-in registrations. It is simply too close to the Convention to process any more mail-in registrations. Artists who plan to attend ConJose can still fill out the registration form and they will be assigned to a wait list and assigned available panels first come first served until we run out of panels. The basic rules for the Art Show are online. Thank you for your patience and we hope we can all make this a great convention.
